This "mid-range adventure" group will grow your running mileage while exposing you to new and fun movement activities, in the company of awesome women.  It's a "mid-range" (not epic!) adventure group because our adventures still fit into our busy lives on weeknights and weekends!

You'll gain an increased understanding of running and confidence in your skills, while also building competence in the outdoors.

We'll be training towards a supported, stunningly beautiful 10-mile run, on 11/23.

The focus of all Ceiling: Unlimited training groups is on the enjoyment of movement in community. We emphasize joyful movement over speed. We celebrate all shapes and sizes of bodies. We believe there is no one “right” way to be a runner or mover, and we reclaim movement activities as acts of self-care.

Join us to adventure around Central Oregon this fall!

Training with a group provides:

Challenge, community, an introduction to new movement and new places, confidence-building adventure, joyful accountability, training and coffee buddies, support, and silliness!

What we’ll do…

Running will be our major focus, and we will also integrate other movement activities to build strength, enjoy new kinds of movement, and face challenges together.

Our running mileage will gradually and safely progress, mostly on trails but occasionally on pavement.  With 12 weeks, we have plenty of time to make 10 miles not just achievable but comfortable! At the end of this group, you can expect that you’ll be capable of a weekly long run of 6-10 miles – a great jumping-off point for further training and activities.

Clinic topics may include:

Running form refresher

Season-appropriate gear and safety considerations

Recovery/rest recommendations

Strength for runners

Hill running

Fueling for distance

"Running mindset massage" – dealing with novel challenges, creating and sustaining new healthy habits, developing grit for outdoor activities, growing your motivation for outdoor movement, joyful movement, creating strong movement communities

Running-adjacent activities we may enjoy, inspired (and permitted) by the seasons:

Yoga, aerial yoga, silks!

A dance class of some sort

Bouldering at the rock gym

Paddleboarding

Strength training

Pickleball

Absurd kid games

Hiking

Snowshoeing

*Some activities may require a small additional charge, collected by the class instructor. We'll discuss which activities we want to do as a group.
