Learn to Run Bend is a beginner level women's training group for

~ women who have never run before

~ women who haven’t run in a long time

~ women who have struggled to start and keep running

​

We welcome all sizes, shapes, and speeds of aspiring runners. 

Our goal is to empower all participants to ENJOY movement, for life!

​

In this 9 week class, we'll cover important foundational running information about

running gear, form, nutrition, places to run, and more.

​

We'll also dive into mindset magic that will keep you moving long after our class ends -

like finding and sustaining motivation, discovering joy in movement,

and creating long-lasting movement communities!

 

Clinics by local nutritionists, physical therapists, and personal trainers

help you fuel well, get strong, and stay healthy.

​

Learn to Run Bend is a fun and welcoming place to learn to run a 5K

in the supportive company of other beginner women runners. 

​

Join us to get

the community, accountability, confidence, capability, motivation, and inspiration

you need to cross your first 5k finish line this spring!

 

Your coach is Michelle Poirot, an RRCA-certified running coach and Duke University-certified health coach

with 10 years of experience coaching beginner running groups in Central Oregon.

​

We meet Saturday mornings at 8am and Wednesdays at 6pm.

We'll be training for the Bend Happy Girls 5K.

gently examine your past and present mindset around movement, fitness, and exercise

 

envision and enact your own sustainable running and movement practice

A 9 week training plan that will comfortably take you from not running to completing a 5K!

 

First and last Saturday Retreats to build community, unearth motivation, reflect, and celebrate!

​Twice weekly workouts, on Wednesday nights at 6pm and Saturday mornings at 8am that introduce you to a variety of great running locations around Bend​

Running clinics on breathing, running form, gear, warm ups, and more​

 

Easy-to-implement mindset techniques that strengthen your motivation!

Expert​ speakers on strength training, injury prevention, and nutrition
